Instructions

I opened the coffee sleeves and made a split on both sides making a sleeve into two pages. After deciding the flow of the page, I then I covered both sides with the chosen cardstock design.

On one of the coffee sleeve, to frame a picture, I only covered one side first, then used the Fiskars heart shape template and cut 2" heart off. Save the cut-off heart shape. I rubbed red ink pigment on the inner side of the heart to accentuate the picture. What's good about using the Fiskars template is that the special cutter supplied makes a clean smooth cut. I then, attach a memorable picture at the back of the sleeve making sure that the picture is centred. Finally I covered the back of the sleeve with patterned cardstock.

I also covered the cut-off heart shape with red linen cardstock then rubbed ink pigment around it before attaching it to the opposite page with foam double sided sticky tape. I made sure that if I close the pages of the sleeve the cut-off heart fits in snuggly on the page with the heart containing picture.

On two pages of the sleeves, I made three page-miniature waterfall card to display the prayers. I attached ribbons for the pulling mechanism. Instead of using cardstock strip to hold the waterfall card down at the back, I used ribbons and made a bow on the other side of the card. To secure the ribbon, I carefully used some brads to hold them down.

I also made a minature envelope that stored a prayer tag inside. Since my printer run out of ink, I used alphabet stickers to make the quotes. It was painstaking procedure but it was worth it.

To hold the pages together, I used eyelets on one end then secure them together with ribbon.

It's a beautiful mini scrapbook and I love creating..
